Story about Fascism

Defining fascism. What fascism really is:

"Fascism, is a dictatorship from the extreme right or to put it a little more closely into our local idiom, a government which is run by a small group of large industrialists and financial lords..." /Heywood Broun, a noted American columnist in the 1930s

/Trey Parker - America("The place that stole the names of everywhere else") fuck yeah lyrics/

Creeping fascism is the gradual lost of freedoms of the masses to the power elite. Full-blown fascism has never appeared all at once. The Nazis took several years to reach the final state of full-blown fascism. The Nazis gradually took away the freedoms of the citizens of Germany until they were able to launch the Holocaust. "Any action taken by the government that places the rights of the elites and corporations above the citizens is a step towards fascism.""In defining fascism, three traits stand above all others, totalitarism, nationalism, and extreme corporatism. In fact, one can not have fascism without corporatism."

Fascism goes hand in hand with racism. As a nation, United States were one of the last industrial nations to allow slavery, and it took the Civil War to end slavery. It has been less than fifty years since "separate but equal" was the rule of the land. It's only been sixty years since Japanese citizens and immigrants were interred in camps following the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The Rosewood incident happened less than a hundred years ago, and lynching of blacks was common well into the 20th century. This country has a long history of genocide. There is no question of the genocide of Native Americans in the efforts of the U. S. Army in passing out blankets infected with small pox, or the slaughter of the Plains Indian's primary source of food, the buffalo. For the "Indians" who lived on the Plains, life depended on the buffalo. At the beginning of the nineteenth century, there were an estimated forty million buffalo, but between 1830 and 1888 there was a rapid, systematic extermination culminating in the sudden slaughter of the only two remaining Plain herds. By around 1895, the formerly vast buffalo populations were practically extinct. Then there was the Trail of Tears, as well. For Native Americans, the world after 1492 would never be the same. This date marked the beginning of the long road of persecution and genocide of Native Americans. By conservative estimates, the population of the United states prior to European contact was greater than 12 million. Four centuries later, the count was reduced by 95% to 237 thousand. "Indian Removal" policy was put into action to clear the land for white settlers. Methods for the removal included slaughter of villages by the military and also biological warfare. The Removal Act of 1830 set into motion a series of events which led to the "Trail of Tears" in 1838, a forced march of the Cherokees, resulting in the destruction of most of the Cherokee population. Bigotry and racial discrimination still exist. The vigilante terrorist group known as the Ku Klux Klan experienced a dramatic rebirth in 1915. Somewhere between 2 and 4 million Americans - a majority of them from the North - joined the Klan over the next few years, all vowing to maintain white supremacy. We'll never know how many black lives perished in racial violence. A University of Illinois study suggests that, between 1882 and 1930, white mobs murdered a black man, woman or child somewhere in America nearly once a week, every week. What about the history of American agression? To name just few "humanitarian operations": Dispute over Texas joining the Union resulted in US conquest of California. The American annexation of Texas whose independence the Mexican had never fully accepted made war with Mexico (1846) inevitable. United States occupation of Haiti 1915-1934, occupation of the Dominican Republic 1916-1924, occupation of Greenland and Iceland in 1941... Americans were the only nation to actually use the Nuclear Weapon against civilians, not once but two times in a row, which resulted in the immediate deaths of around 150,000 innocent people. 1945-49 Occupation of South Korea and defeat of a leftist insurgency led to Korean War. "Bay of pigs"- Cuba 1962. Americans were never the good guys. Then they went to Vietnam to fight communism. The number of casualties during the Vietnam War was enormous. According to conservative estimates, about 4 million Vietnamese on all sides were killed, wounded, or missing during the 1965-1975 period alone. 7,800,000 tons of bombs dropped by the U.S. on Indochina, 7,500,000 tons of ground munitions used by U.S. forces, 200,000 tons of munitions fired by U.S. naval forces from ships. This firepower is the equivalent in destructive force of about 600 Hiroshima type atomic bombs. $0 Total U.S. recovery aid provided Vietnam since the end of the war. One of the most controversial aspects of the U.S. military effort in Southeast Asia was the widespread use of agents of chemical warfare between 1961 and 1971. They were used to defoliate large parts of the countryside. These chemicals continue to change the landscape, cause diseases and birth defects, and poison the food chain even today. Invasion of Dominican Republic, aagain in 1965. The U.S. launches Operation "Urgent Fury" to invade the sovereign island nation of Grenada, 1983. Operation "El Dorado Canyon" On April 16, 1986, President Reagan reported that U.S. air and naval forces had conducted bombing strikes on terrorist facilities and military installations in the Libyan capitol of Tripoli, claiming that Libyan leader Col. Gaddafi was responsible for a bomb attack at a German disco that killed two U.S. soldiers. 1991 - Iraq. Persian Gulf War, On January 16 America attacked Iraqi forces and military targets in Iraq and Kuwait. Bosnia-Hercegovina is still under occupation, from 1993. 1994-95 - Haiti Operation "Uphold Democracy". 1999 - U.S. led bombing of Serbia fighting muslim terrorists uprising in its southern province of Kosovo (Albanian drug lords have bought some U.S. senators. Maybe Iran is sponsoring terrorism but terrorists are pouring money in U.S. Congress. Money talks louder than justice). "Iraqi Freedom" left 1 million dead, that number is still rising. Americans were "looking for weapons of mass destruction", they hadn't found it, not even under Saddam's bed. Money making is a wonderful thing. Tell you one thing: Invaders must die. What are they doing there? Winning hearts and minds? 2001 - present day - Operation "Enduring Freedom"... All these actions had nothing to do with democracy and freedom nor terrorists, it is all about money, oil, pipelines and shit. In fact, they have never stopped taking other peoples' liberties away. They've been in war from the day United States were born. Every war was a must to "protect American interests, American dream, their way of life, liberty, capitalism, freedom, flowers and justice".
Collateral damage is damage that is unintended or incidental to the intended outcome. The term originated in the United States military. Jamie Shea, spokesman of NATO during NATO campaign against Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, has became (in)famous for using this phrase in comments about civilian casualties killed by NATO.
American Capitalism: You have two cows. You sell one, and force the other to produce the milk of four cows. You are surprised when the cow drops dead, you put the blame on socialism and you invade another country to search for more cows.
Globalization: A highly epidemic disease (Caused, some say, due to excessive exposure to Capitalism©)that causes the destruction of all forms of culture, and the formation of a single monoculture based on the "American Way of Life™".

Air Force One flyover caused panic in NYC

A "furious" President Obama has ordered a review of the decision to fly a Boeing 747 frighteningly close to the lower Manhattan skyline. On Tuesday, Obama told reporters, "It was a mistake. It was something we found out about along with all of you. And it will not happen again." The Federal Aviation Administration said the aircraft, which functions as Air Force One when the president is aboard, was taking part in a classified, government-sanctioned photo shoot...

The flyover has caused panic across Manhattan NY. Witnesses reported seeing the plane circle over the Upper New York Bay near the Statue of Liberty before flying up the Hudson River. The YouTube video shows dozens of people standing in a parking lot, watching the plane approach. As it nears, they begin to run. Someone unleashes an expletive. "Run, run!" says one person. "Oh my God," cries another. "There was no warning. It looked like the plane was about to come into us," she said. "I'm a therapist, and I actually had a panic attack." A 911 call released by the Hudson County Sheriff's Department in New Jersey shows the panic caused by the plane. "There's a plane falling, there is a big aircraft falling like 9/11!"
OOOH, like 9/11? Poor souls, boohoo...It's just a plane, stupid. You don't see people running and shit their pants from seeing an airplane over their heads, in let's say... Serbia, and they were bombed to stoneage by Americans, some years ago.

NASA to bomb the Moon

NASA - Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter is on its way to the Moon to help pave the way for humans to "return" there. The $600 million plan outlined on Monday represents an early milestone in the strategy outlined by President Bush two years ago to send astronauts back to the Moon to prepare for the eventual human exploration of Mars. NASA plan is to impact the bottom of the shadowed crater with the satellite's spent upper-stage Centaur rocket, more than 5,000 pounds of dead weight careening in at 5,600 mph. LRO is two in one spacecraft. The two spacecrafts should reach the moon in four to five days — or by early next week. One will enter into an orbit around the moon for a mapping mission. The other will swing past the Moon and go into an elongated orbit around Earth that will put it on course to crash into a crater at the Moon's south pole in October. Impact (or dust cloud) should be visible from Earth. The plume of ejected material — more than 350 tons of soil and rock — should rise as high as six miles. NASA expects the dramatic Moon-impacting part of the mission to be "a smashing success." It's a quest to determine whether frozen water is buried in one of the permanently shadowed craters.
"The attack on the Moon is not a declaration of war or act of wanton vandalism. Space scientists want to see if any water ice or vapour is revealed in the cloud of debris." What a stupid idea! More garbage in space, this time on a Moon. Well, Americans are not the only ones, Japanese have also crashed on the Moon. Quoting: "Andrews had no budget for an expensive lander to seek water, and conditions in the eternally dark polar craters would kill rovers, with temperatures close to minus 300 F. Instead, Blue Ice and its partners at Northrop Grumman came up with a concept to bring the lunar floor out in the open.... Since engineering precision hardware would break the budget, the LCROSS team had to make existing components work together." Yeah! It is a time of freaking Global Crisis. This is one low-cost, lightning-fast mission with a blast! American style, baby!

Christiane Amanpour world's highest-paid correspondent

In 2005 President Clinton saw a need to establish Clinton Global Initiative (CGI). CGI reflects his belief that governments need collaboration from the private sector, non-governmental organizations, media and other global leaders to effectively confront the world’s most pressing problems and promote "good government in new democracies". CGI membership is a year-round activity tailored to the needs of today's world leaders. The CGI membership fee is $20,000 per calendar year. Amanpour was a member alongside with Gordon Brown (Prime Minister of the United Kingdom) , Shimon Peres (President of Israel), Barrack Obama (44th President of United States), Jens Stoltenberg (Prime Minister of Norway), Warren Buffett, Rupert Murdoch, Michael Bloomberg, Robert Zoellick (President of The World Bank Group), Hillary Clinton, Richard Holbrooke, Javier Solana (High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union), Martti Ahtisaari, George Soros and others... The Global Initiative's annual meeting, however, displayed a list of sponsors that included "purely charitable outfits" such as the Rockefeller Foundation, Bill Gates, but also Pfizer, a major player in the heavily regulated pharmaceutical industry.
Talk about "independent journalism". Now, back to Christiane Amanpour. In 1998, Christiane married former US Assistant Secretary of State James Rubin. The couple met in 1997 in Bosnia, where Ms. Amanpour was on assignment and Mr. Rubin was traveling with Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright. Many find it unusual that Amanpour, raised in Islamic Iran, married a man of the Jewish faith tradition. In 2007 she was given one of Britain’s top honours by Queen Elizabeth. For her reporting from the Balkans, Amanpour received a News and Documentary Emmy, two George Foster Peabody Awards, two George Polk Awards, a Courage in Journalism Award, a Worldfest-Houston International Film Festival Gold Award and the Livingston Award for Young Journalists. Remember, at the time of NATO aggression on Serbia, James Rubin was the spokesman of the State Department. Her story represents all that one needs to know about the world, reduced, packaged, and delivered. To them (western media), the KLA is one day a drug smuggling operation, the next - an army of liberation. The media often generate the very events that they describe. They add an impetus, import momenta, dictate trajectory, nudge leaders and determines consequences. They are an active partner rather than a disinterested by-stander. As such, they share the matrix of responsibility with politicians and army generals. Christiane is not the first among her colleagues, she is much more than that - their symbol. She was simply "chosen" to do the dirty work. Her first important journalistic mission was in 1990. Two years later, she is in the Bosnia and on the road to world glory... Who is, in fact, Christiane Amanpour? She was a child od several cultures. Shortly after her birth in London, her father Mohammad, an Iranian airline executive and her British mother Patricia, moved the family to Tehran. The Amanpours led a privileged life under the government of the Shah of Iran. She returned to England in 1969 and her family fled from Iran during the Islamic Revolution. From age 11, attended two Roman Catholic all-girls' schools in Great Britain. Graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Rhode Island in 1983 with a BA in Journalism. She was a roomie with JFK Jr. After graduation, she endured numerous network rejections because she lacked "the right look."

"I arrived at CNN with a suitcase, with my bicycle and with about 100 dollars."

She was transferred to Eastern Europe in 1986, during the fall of Communism. Her emotional delivery from Sarajevo during the Siege of Sarajevo led some viewers and critics to question her professional objectivity, claiming that many of her reports were unjustified and in favour towards the Bosnian Muslims, to which she replied,

"There are some situations one simply cannot be neutral about, because when you are neutral you are an accomplice. Objectivity doesn't mean treating all sides equally. It means giving each side a hearing."

She was sitting in Belgrade when that Markale marketplace massacre happened, and she went on the air to say that the Serbs had probably done it. There was no way she could have known that. She was assuming an omniscience which no journalist has. As it happened in the Markale case, later investigation indicated Serbs could not have perpetrated this particular attack. The fact that a UN classified report concluded that Bosnian Muslim forces had committed the Markale marketplace massacre seems of no consequence to Ms. Amanpour. Christiane Amanpour has yet to inform her viewers of this fact, but continues to allow them to believe the massacre was a Serbian atrocity...She stepped unabashedly out of her role as a reporter when she publicly challenged President Bill Clinton in May 1994 to take action in response to Serbian actions in Bosnia.

" When our world leaders wanted to shrug away and call it a terrible civil war for which all sides were equally guilty, we said, "No." Genocide against Muslims in Europe was being committed and this had to be stopped." (April 29, 2006).

She was CNN's top war correspondent in Iraq and by doing so, failed to aggressively question the motives behind the invasion. Why doesn't she "scream bloody murder" about US crimes in Middle East or elsewhere around the globe? A review of her reporting over the years in Bosnia, Iraq, Israel and the Palestinian territories suggests the hollowness of such lofty claims and underscores her preference for advocacy journalism in which she pushes her own personal definitions of fairness and truth, instead of presenting information objectively. Amanpour’s self-ascribed moral authority is reflected in other aspects of her work. She even fashions herself an expert on international law where it suits her story. Is Amanpour ignorant or a liar? If she's ignorant, she should be fired. Not for this singular untruth, but for the entire enterprise which leaks lies and distortions at every frame. If she's a liar, well, she should be fired... Honestly, calling this, um—thing—journalism would be like calling McDonald's burger organic food. There should be war crimes tribunal for fake journalism that leads to military intervention.

Where is Christiane Amanpour, there is no truth, and thus can not even be in danger.

The World's only Communist ruling dynasty

Kim Jong-il has formally named his third son, Kim Jong-un, as his successor as he prepares to stand down as North Korea's leader. Analysts said North Korea's nuclear bomb test last week, and the firing of several short-range missiles, could be designed to create a personality cult around its new leader. The first mention of Kim Jong-il's third, and favourite, son(25), came in the memoirs of a Japanese sushi chef Fujimoto, who claims he became a drinking companion of North Korea's "Dear Leader". Fujimoto, said he is indeed "a spitting image of his father in terms of face, body shape and personality". The younger Kim is thought to have studied at the International School of Berne in Guemligen, Switzerland, under a pseudonym before returning to a military academy in Pyongyang. There are varying reports that he can speak German, French and English. He has also been reported as overweight and diabetic. His oldest son, 37-year-old Kim Jong-nam, might have taken over from him, but has never been able to recover from being caught in 2001 trying to sneak into Disneyland in Tokyo. Although there were rumours of a reconciliation, he has also been spotted in Macau. Meanwhile a train carrying an intercontinental ballistic missile has been detected by South Korean intelligence travelling to Musudan-ri, a key North Korean launch pad. US officials confirmed that North Korea is moving a new missile, but cautioned that Pyongyang might be engaging in deception to win further bargaining points. The US Defence department has said it is capable of intercepting North Korean missiles. The rogue state also does not have the technology to mount a nuclear warhead onto the Taepodong 2. America has agreed to sell "bunker-buster" bombs to South Korea capable of destroying underground facilities in North Korea... Totalitarian regimes close to demise are apt to get panicky and do rash things. The weaker North Korea gets, the more dangerous it becomes. These brainwashed Asians “will stand and fight.” American soldiers in Korea refer to the fighting on the peninsula between 1950 and 1953 as “the first Korean War.” The implicit assumption is that there will be a second. In any case scenario, poor people of North Korea should not be punished.
In The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), nursery school is followed by four years of primary and six years of secondary school. After that, everyone joins the army for 13 years. North Korea has the fifth-largest army in the world, at an estimated 1.21 million armed personnel, with about 20% of men aged 17–54 in the regular armed forces. In every district pylons fitted with loudspeakers broadcast party orders and martial music. Public executions are common thing. Media brainwashed the population so that the only Communist ruling dinasty, can stay in power. Kim Jong Il’s succession was aided by the link that his father had established in the North Korean mind between the Kim Family Regime and the Choson Dynasty, which ruled the Korean peninsula for 500 years, starting in the late fourteenth century. People are dying from famine while military prepares to launch ICBMs. Large-scale international food aid deliveries have allowed the people of North Korea to escape widespread starvation since famine threatened in 1995, but the population continues to suffer from prolonged malnutrition and poor living conditions. China and South Korea remain the largest donors of food aid to North Korea. People there desperately need help but not by carpet-bombing like in Iraq...
