Wow! First, Oprah, now this. Sounds like a dream... American dream. Obama, the first black president of U.S. is in da house! Only in America. Yes, we can... until 1865, slavery for life was legal in United States. The slave population in the United States had grown to four million by the 1860 Census. Most African Americans are the direct descendants of captive Africans who survived. Prior to the 1950s, Black Americans in the South were subject to de jure discrimination. Thanks to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr and Civil Rights Movement in the 60's, this rascist country started to treat them as humans... and they're damn proud of it. So yes, it is a big deal for U.S. that their President is indeed black (or half black). After 400 years of legal racial suppression and discrimination, African Americans are as equal as whites. Are they? Black calls for reparations began almost from the moment that slavery officially ended in 1865. However, although their calls far predate those of either the Japanese or the Jews, only the latter two communities have been responded to in a spirit of sober compassion and thoughtful humanity. There are many ways to begin righting America's massive wrong. But resolving economic and social disparities so long in the making will require great resources and decades of national fortitude. It is a struggle that all Americans must support, as the important first step toward America's having any chance for a new beginning in which all its inhabitants are true co-owners of America's democratic ideals. Until then, Obama is just another puppet of The Global Elite.

The United States has decided to boycott an upcoming UN conference on racism unless its final document is changed to drop all references to Israel. The US also did not want the document to take up the issue of reparations for slavery, which was another hot topic in the Durban 2001 conference.

With the help of his son Mark Brzezinski, another top foreign policy controller of
Obama, Zbig is also behind the new Euromissiles crisis involving US ABM installations
in Poland. Zbig is the enforcer for the new CIA policy of killing Pakistanis. Zbig is the obvious mastermind of the massive destabilization of China, starting with the CIA/MI-6 Tibet insurrection. He may also make the Taiwan crisis explode. Brzezinski's goal is confrontation with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the main world center for resistance to US-UK global domination.

Yeah, what a great story: We will exploit Earth's resources to the point of no return, we will f*k up the climate and wage imperialistic wars against poor nations (they're terrorists), we will create global financial meltdown. Then, America will "change" and lead the world introducing new green technologies (like we didn't know about them 'till now). We will sell it to the world, make even more money... World must change with us, we're the good guys, we need one global government, one army and one currency. We will control everyone and everything, who's not with us, he is against us...you know the rest.

Solar Dish

The Solar Dish boils water, fries eggs in a skillet in ten minutes, and bakes cornbread in less than half an hour. The outdated, abandoned satellite dishes are a valuable resource. Everybody can easibly turn it into a Solar Cooker. All you need is Sun, satellite dish, roll of aluminum flashing from the local hardware store, some free time and good will... The dish is a prefabricated parabola, a shape that focuses visible and infrared light (or, originally, microwaves) to a single point in space called the focal point. The focal point is located above the center of the dish, where the struts hold the receiver in place. Remove the receiver since it is in the spot where you want to put the food. At the surface of the earth, about 1000 watts of energy fall on every square meter of ground when the sun is overhead. This value is called the solar constant. Multiplying 1000 watts/square meter by the dish area of 3.6 square meters, the dish should be able to collect and focus about 3600 watts of energy. This is a lot more than most cookers, and is about twice the power of a countertop hotplate or griller. The sun is always moving across the sky and the angle of the dish must also change for maximum results.

WARNING: In the focal point it gets so hot that creates nasty burns and/or you could damage your eyes for good! Never place hand in beam and never experiment without protective gear.

Ways to reduce the burn hazard: redesign the shape of the dish so that the focal point is low--well inside the bowl-shape of the dish where it is much less likely that someone will put their hand or face.
Another method is to mount the cooking pot on a rotating arm--then the cook moves the arm to remove the pot from the focal point when the cook needs to open the pot. This way, the cook does not have to reach their hand near the focal point.
Another method is to redesign the shape of the dish so that instead of a narrow point focus, the focus is more spread out.

Ancient robotics

Leonardo da Vinci has built an automatic mechanical lion which was presented as a sign of homage to the new King Francis I of France in 1515. “He made a Lion, made with a marvellous mechanism, walk from its place in a room, and then it stopped and opened its chest, which was completely full of lilies and other flowers”. Fully automated wooden lion was performing different actions without electronics or wires. Recently it has been reconstructed from Leonardo's sketches and it worked! He also made a robot knight who could sit up, wave its arms, bend its legs, move its head, and open and close its jaw; a mechanical apparatus in the chest controlled arm movements, while an external crank moved the legs. An earlier drawing, from 1478, was thought for years to be the design for a spring-powered cart.

The clockwork dolls are regarded as Japan's first robots. Japanese were always interested in mechanics and robotics. Ancients were not stupid, they used technology of their times (springs, ropes, water mechanics...) and they had genious ideas. The manuscript called Karakuri Zui (sometimes read as Kikou Zui) or "Illustrated Machinery" was written by Hanzo Hosokawa, a mechanical engineer, astronomer and inventor from the domain of Tosa on Shikoku Island. The three-volume treatise details how to make four kinds of wadokei clocks and nine types of karakuri dolls including the famous tea-serving doll. Known as Japan's oldest mechanical engineering manuscript, the book has meticulously written notes on how to dress the dolls in kimono.

One thousand years ago, when Europe was still in the dark ages, China was at the forefront of technology. Whilst Europe's Renaissance is celebrated through the innovations of Leonardo da Vinci, Columbus and Renoir, few today realize that China experienced its own Renaissance fathered by the legendary Su Song five hundred years earlier.

An ancient Chinese book called, Stories of Government and the People (or Chao Ye Qian Zai), contains many fascinating tales that occurred during and before the Tang Dynasty, among which are interesting historical records about the ancient mechanical engineering technology. King Lan Ling, who lived during the Northern Qi Dynasty (550-577 A.D.), was ingenious in mechanical inventions. He once made a robot that could dance and that looked like a man of a non-Chinese ethnic group. When the King wanted to offer a drink to a man, the robot would turn to that man, and bow to the man with the drink in his hand. Nobody knows what secret mechanism was inside the robot. Yin Wenliang, a county magistrate from Luozhou was a very skillful mechanical engineer and liked drinking. He created a wooden man and dressed him with an outfit made of colourful silk. At every banquet, the small wooden man would propose a toast to each guest in order. Yin Wenliang also made a wooden woman. She could play the sheng (an ancient Chinese pipe with thirteen reeds) and sing, and she did them in perfect rhythm. If a guest did not finish the wine in his cup, the wooden man wouldn’t refill the cup. If a guest did not drink enough wine, the wooden singing girl would play the sheng and sing for him to urge him to drink more. Nobody could figure out the marvellous secret of these two wooden robots.

The ancient world is littered with mythical references about automatic robotic machines. Stories such as the mythical golden robot built by Hephaistos, which would roam the island of Crete three times a day, protecting its wealth. Today, knowing the possibilities of simple ancient technology, we are not so sure if those were only myths...

What is Genocide?

Human Rights Watch has called on Israel to stop using white phosphorus which it says has been used in military operations in the densely populated Gaza Strip. The US-based group said that its researchers observed the use of the chemical, which can burn away human flesh to the bone, over Gaza. White phosphorus is a highly flammable incendiary material which ignites when exposed to oxygen, and will burn human skin until all the oxygen is used up. Human Rights Watch said that it believed the use of the chemical in Gaza violated the requirement under international humanitarian law to take all feasible precautions to avoid civilian injury and loss of life. Israel used white phophorus during its 34-day war against Lebanon's Hezbollah movement in 2006, while the United States used it during the controversial siege of the Iraqi city of Fallujah in 2004. The civilian population has no way to hide. The population density is so high you can not do attacks like this without knowing that you are attacking the civilians.

Israel military previously used cluster bombs for two weeks during the 2006 Lebanon war. It dropped the bombs without telling the Israeli government, despite UN protests who called it “immoral”; no actions were taken against Israel. Israel repeated it again in Gaza today. The cluster bombs, unlike other bombs, cause damages for a long period of time and most of the casualties are civilians long after the war is over. Cluster munitions cause deaths and maiming - primarily of poor children playing in areas where they've been dropped - for decades after the hostilities cease. 94 countries recently signed a treaty banning them, but Israel and the U.S. refused to sign on to the ban.

Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak warned on Sunday that the wide-ranging ground offensive in the Gaza Strip would be "full of surprises." Norwegian medics found traces of depleted uranium in some Gaza residents wounded in Israel's ground offensive on the strip, meaning the ultimate death toll could be far higher as future generations are plagued by cancers and birth defects. The residue of a DU weapon can be spread by the wind and infect humans not in the immediate area as well as the entire food chain. In 1999, the UN called for the use of depleted uranium to be banned worldwide but efforts to downplay its effects led by the Pentagon have blocked such a ban.

The already fragile humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip has deteriorated dramatically since Israel began its military offensive. Israel is denying access to Gaza for international journalists and human rights monitors, so it is not possible to verify the accounts. Claims have been received by the BBC and an Israeli human rights group that Israeli troops have fired on Gaza residents trying to escape the conflict area. One testimony heard by the BBC and human rights group describes Israeli forces shooting a woman in the head after she stepped out of her house carrying a piece of white cloth... Yet, Israelis call their action a war on terror.

Jimmy Carter criticized Kissinger, arguing he was "single-handedly" managing all of America's foreign relations. Kissinger was meeting regularly with President George W. Bush to offer advice on the War in Iraq...

The present path of world development risks alienation, polarization, violence and conflict. We need one World Government, new ways of thinking, new Religion... That is so cute, but it's WRONG! Rise and fall of Comunism and the Soviet Union, World War I, League of Nations, World War II, United Nations, State of Israel, EU, AIDS, Global Warming, Al-Qaeda, War on terror(WWIII), Global financial meltdown, North American Union, ID Chip, One World Government, Population Reduction and New World Order, global crisis=global solution... What is there, more to destroy before Bush(worst president ever) leave office (January 20)?

Let's bomb Iran before Obama steps in! Bush rejected a secret request by Israel last year for specialized bunker-busting bombs it wanted for an attack on Iran's main nuclear complex and told the Israelis that he had authorized new covert action intended to sabotage Iran’s suspected effort to develop nuclear weapons, according to senior American and foreign officials. The White House denied that request outright and the Israelis backed off their plans, at least temporarily. Bush was convinced by top administration officials, led by Defense Secretary Robert Gates, that any attack on Iran would probably prove ineffective, lead to the expulsion of international inspectors and drive Iran’s nuclear effort further out of view. Mr. Bush and his aides also discussed the possibility that an airstrike could ignite a broad Middle East war in which America’s 140,000 troops in Iraq would inevitably become involved. American intelligence assessment completed in late 2007, concluded that Iran had effectively suspended its development of nuclear weapons. That assessment, was based on Iranian reports obtained by penetrating Iran’s computer networks. Those reports indicated that Iranian engineers had been ordered to halt development of a nuclear warhead in 2003. So, there were no concentration camps for Albanians in Kosovo, there were no weapons of mass destruction under Sadam's bed and there are no nuclear warheads in Middle East (except Israel's). Iran's phantom nuclear program is just another lie, but if you repeat a lie again and again, it becomes the truth.

Attack Planning

Early in 2008, the Israeli government signaled that it might be preparing to take matters into its own hands. In a series of meetings, Israeli officials asked Washington for a new generation of powerful bunker-busters, far more capable of blowing up a deep underground plant than anything in Israel’s arsenal of conventional weapons. They asked for refueling equipment that would allow their aircraft to reach Iran and return to Israel. And they asked for the right to fly over Iraq. Last June, the Israelis conducted an exercise over the Mediterranean Sea that appeared to be a dry run for an attack on the enrichment plant at Natanz. When the exercise was analyzed at the Pentagon, officials concluded that the distances flown almost exactly equaled the distance between Israel and the Iranian nuclear site. The United States did give Israel one item on its shopping list: high-powered radar, called the X-Band, to detect any Iranian missile launchings.

What about Obama? Will he change the destructive course of U.S. policy for real or was he elected just to improve the image of United States? Speaking about the Israeli attacks in Gaza, Mr. Obama said he remained convinced that Israel had a clear right of self-defense. More broadly, he promised that after his inauguration on Jan. 20, his foreign policy team would become “immediately engaged in the Middle East peace process.” Israel just can't continue with destruction and bombardment of its neighbours. Serbia was bombed back to the stone age because it was defending its borders from the terrorists. Israel must pay for their crimes, if there is still some justice left in the world...

Israeli invasion of Palestine 2009

Thousands of Israeli troops entered the Gaza Strip overnight with tanks and helicopters, accompanied by naval support and air strikes. A column of Israeli tanks and artillery, and armoured personnel vehicles has made its way through from the eastern part of Gaza, reaching as far as the Mediterrannean sea on the Western part, essentially splitting Gaza. Palestinian medical sources say at least 477 Palestinians have died and more than 2,300 had been injured since Israel began aerial bombardment of Gaza more than a week ago. Israel, meanwhile, extended its naval blockade of Gaza early on Sunday, from six nautical miles to 20 nautical miles, preventing humanitarian aid and protest vessels from trying to break the siege. Power lines have been cut throughout the Gaza Strip and more than 250,000 people in the northern part of the territory are without electricity. At least 25 per cent of the Palestinians killed since Israel began its aerial assault nine days ago were civilians, the UN has estimated. The Israeli military has destroyed several mosques during its week-long offensive in Gaza, saying Hamas uses the houses of worship to store weapons. Israel declared that their one main objective is to disarm Hamas and stop rockets from being launched from the Gaza Strip. Angry protests against Israel's bombardment of the Gaza Strip have continued throughout the world. In Europe, demonstrators have taken place across Britain with the biggest rally in London...

"I urge all parties to pressure Hamas to turn away from terror, and to support legitimate Palestinian leaders working for peace," Bush said in his weekly radio address. Bush said Hamas was responsible for the latest violence and rejected a unilateral ceasefire that would allow Hamas to continue to fire mortars on Israel from the Gaza Strip. Hamas' home made rocket attacks on jewish settlements led to the Israeli invasion. It was a moment they've been waiting for, a perfect excuse. With their supremacy in war-machines this offensive seems like walk in the park. When it comes to guerilla warfare, it's a different story. Beware a weak and unprincipled government, facing an election that it is likely to lose. There is a whiff of political opportunism about Israel's decision to subject Gaza to massive, deadly air raids which have killed hundreds of Palestinians. Arguments about how many Hamas rockets have recently penetrated southern Israel, and how deep, are, in that sense, almost a sideshow. As important is that Ehud Olmert's embattled government goes to the polls in February. Both his successor as leader of Kadima, Tzipi Livni, and the Defence Minister, Ehud Barak, appear to believe a show of muscle before Mr. Bush left office, may be the best way of seeing off Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party (sounds familiar?). How and why he believes a sustained aerial bombardment of Gaza is going to engineer the collapse of Hamas remains unclear. It ought, in fact, to have become clear that the earlier economic blockade of Gaza, while inflicting misery, was not achieving its political objectives.
